Description

Remanufactured Stanadyne DS-series mechanical injection pump (DS4831-5068SE) for 1994 GM Chevrolet/GMC C/K trucks running the 6.5L Detroit Diesel Turbo. The 6.5L Detroit predates the Duramax — these are pre-2001 trucks with the mechanically-injected 6.5L turbo platform.

The DS-series is an evolution of the Stanadyne DB2 with refined fuel control for the 6.5L turbo. Each pump is fully disassembled, inspected, rebuilt with new seals and wear parts, then flow-tested against OE 1994 spec. Verify your existing pump's tag number before ordering — 6.5L Detroit calibrations changed mid-year in 1994 and the wrong pump causes drivability and starting issues.

• For the 6.2L naturally-aspirated Detroit Diesel, use DB2829-4779 instead. The Duramax (2001+) uses an entirely different fuel system and is not compatible with this pump.
