2001-2016 Duramax Alternate Firing Billet Race Stage 1 Camshaft w/ Key (PDM-DMXAFS1)

Description

Industrial Injection alternate-firing billet race camshaft for 2001-2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD/3500 and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500 6.6L Duramax (LB7, LLY, LBZ, LMM, LML). The race-spec cam in Industrial Injection's lineup — billet construction, keyed cam gear, and an alternate firing order designed to relieve stress on the crankshaft.

Available in two stages. Stage 1 is a drop-in performance cam. Stage 2 requires .085" valve reliefs in the pistons before install. Both stages require 130lb performance valve springs.

Features
  • Alternate Firing Order — Relieves Stress on Crankshaft
  • Billet Construction
  • Keyed to Prevent Cam Gear Slipping
  • 1000+ HP Capable
  • Stage 1 — Drop-In (PDM-DMXAFS1)
  • Stage 2 — Requires .085" Valve Reliefs (PDM-DMXAFS2)
Notes
  • Both stages require 130lb Performance Valve Springs (44B801).
  • Piston-to-valve clearance must be measured when installing any aftermarket camshaft.
  • For the milder Stage 1 drop-in cam without the alternate firing order, see the PDM-DMXRV Stage 1 Performance Camshaft. For the Stage 2 standard-firing race cam, see the PDM-DMXHP Stage 2 Race Performance Camshaft.
  • Competition-use performance product — not 50-state legal for on-road use. Compliance with state and federal emissions standards is the consumer's responsibility.
