Description

Industrial Injection remanufactured cylinder heads for the 2004.5-2005 LLY 6.6L Duramax, sold as a pair. A direct factory replacement — heads arrive complete and ready to bolt onto the block.

Each head is jet-washed, glass-beaded, then magnafluxed or pressure tested and inspected for defects. New heat-treated iron-based valve guides are installed and diamond-honed to size, premium nickel-based seat inserts are fitted as needed, and the head is finished with a multi-angle valve job on a Serdi 100, new unshrouded valves, and new valve springs. The deck is resurfaced on a Berco milling machine to match common head-gasket surface finishes.

• Some heads are converted from LBZ/LMM cores because of limited LLY core supply — installation will require LBZ/LMM glow plugs
