Description

Stanadyne DB2 mechanical injection pump for 1986-1987 GM C/K 1500 and 2500 trucks running the 6.2L Detroit Diesel V8. OE-spec replacement for trucks that have lost fuel pressure, developed shaft seal leaks, or won't hold timing from a tired stock pump.

Bolts to the factory front cover, uses OE hard lines, lift pump connection, and shutoff solenoid. Calibrated to OE fuel rates — stock-power applications only.

Notes

• Standard-altitude calibration. Trucks above ~5,000 ft should run the high-altitude variant.
• Drain the fuel tank and replace fuel filters before installing — water and old fuel kill a fresh injection pump fast.
